Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pony Racing. DESCRIPTION: Small fry of the Pony Club at Dourdan, France in a cross country competition - show that if you want to ride well you have got to start young. SHOTLIST: GV competitors in contest riding by a fence with crowd watching. CU young girl. SV pan small horse and child riding past. SV No 1 Kahlat 7 years old going through stick obstacle. CU young girl rider of No 1. SV No 1 riding past. LV No 2 riding up to camera with man running alongside, the horse throws her. CU pan competitors. SV pan No 4 going through water jump. SV No 6 riding past a jump doubles back & jumps other jump. SCU adjudicator. SV pan horse & rider going through water. SV pan No 6 going down a ditch & riding on. SV small girl seated on ground wearing a riding helmet, also small boy. SV No 6 rider trying to get pony to move without any luck. SV No 6 a man pulls the horse while a woman hits its behind and pony rides off with rider. SV No 15 rears. SBV No 15 a woman pats the pony on the rump to get it through the ditch jump. SV No 7 riding through the ditch. LV No 26 jumping down slope and rider falls off. LV No 1 going through the water (overall winner). SV competitors riding along course with No 1 leading.
