Summary
COI synopsis: ‘Carrousel Britanico’ goes to see a great engineering project at Chinandega in Nicaragua. Here a giant flour mill is being constructed and it will, when completed, produce 1,600 hundred-pound bags of flour every twenty four hours. This seven-storey steel structure, which must be able to withstand earthquakes, is a symbol of progress and co-operation between British designers and Nicaraguan engineers.
