- NoS synopsis: Sir Bernard Lovell talks about his work at the Jodrell Bank Radio Astronomy laboratories at Manchester University, giving examples of how radio telescopes have stimulated and helped in the search of space by optical telescopes. The new data obtained from this research has helped in the assessment of rival theories of the origins of the universe.
