Summary
COI synopsis: It isn’t always a case of the bigger the better; sometimes it’s an advantage to be small. In this issue we look at the benefits of being smaller rather than larger, of using less instead of more. Using less of everything to produce more. This new system of horticulture needs the merest trickle of water, the minimum of fertiliser, and no soil at all - just rolls of black plastic and some clothes pegs.
