- Summary
- COI synopsis: To many people the twentieth century city is a place becoming bleak in its uniformity. In this issue we look at some of the latest ideas for putting individuality back into building, and giving our cities a new and different shape. Now, using simple but ingenious construction principles, timber buildings can rise to a height of ten storeys. Prefabricated wooden sections will slot together in a variety of different ways to produce these tower blocks with a difference.
