- Summary
- COI synopsis: The constant improvement in farming techniques require corresponding improvement in the means of communicating each new advance. Farmers and agricultural extension officers can now obtain a visual aid to suit their precise needs. In what looks like a briefcase, but which opens up like a television set, two British agricultural experts have devised the means to show programmes researched at the special request of the responsible people on the spot. In Africa, this means a programme advising not just a general area, but dealing with a particular place and particular crop. And extension officers and farmers can hear the commentary in the language of their choice.
