- Summary
- COI Synopisis: Portmeirion is a picturesque little village that looks as if it has been in a beautiful valley in North Wales for hundreds of years. In fact, it was built in the last 50 years and is all the creation of one extraordinary man - 92 year-old Sir Clough William Ellis. Sir Clough is an architect who loathes the modern concept of architecture and dismisses it as "the new brutalism". He set out to prove that architecture can be fun and can be harmonious with people and the landscape.
