Summary
COI synopsis: Maggie Palmer visits Hampton Court, once the residence of Henry the Eighth, and discovers that the maintenance of the Palace has been a continuing process for four hundred years; and as a result Hampton Court is not only an attraction to the architects and other specialists as well as the general tourist, but remains a house, a residence, with such unusual amenities as a Real Tennis Court in continuous use since Henry the Eighth first played there.
