Summary
COI synopsis: The crown jewels are priceless, kept under special guard at the Tower of London - so how come Maggie Palmer is wearing them? Well, she isn’t. Needless to say every one of the pieces is a fake! A firm of costumiers in Covent Garden in London has been "honourably" faking the crown jewels for over 40 years. And so well do they do it that their copies were used at the rehearsal of the Queen’s Coronation 25 years ago and that of her father’s 15 years before.
