British Pathe synopsis: A woman holding a parasol walks towards the camera in a snowy Japanese street. There is snow on the building behind her, and on the trees. Same woman walks towards the camera in a snowy garden. "Everywhere the ubiquitous sunshade becomes a snow-shade." Various shots of Japanese people walking in the streets carrying parasols and umbrellas. What looks like a funeral procession passes the camera. L/S of snowy landscape. Men seem to be sweeping the snow or clearing paths. Various snowy Japanese scenes including a waterfall with frozen icicles and a little snow covered hut at the bottom of the waterfall. - Keywords
