Summary
British Pathe synopsis: "London is full of fashion parades, for the Grand Season is upon us. This "Idare" model they christened "Sailor’s Holiday" - (It is in fine tussore)." M/S of a fashion parade set. A woman stands to one side - possibly describing the outfits which are displayed. The camera is situated behind an audience who watch the parade. Closer view of the spotted Idare outfit. Model walks down the steps towards the audience. "Coat and hat to match - in platinum ermine - a gorgeous model - " Woman parades in glamorous light coloured fur coat. She walks down the steps towards the camera. "A chic marocain three-piece." Woman wearing a fox stole and smart suit parades for the audience. She gives the fox to the woman standing on stage and turns to display her outfit. "Silver cloth is the latest for motoring - " Woman wearing a silver coat parades on stage holding two dogs! She walks towards the camera. "This will make Eve’s eyes glisten - a white satin gown with mink and ermine coatee and one hundred thousand pounds worth of emeralds and diamonds!" Woman in an evening gown parades on stage. Model poses draped in jewellery. "The dress of most girls’ dreams - a bridal gown of satin and pearl embroidered net (Bridesmaids’ gowns are also of satin with net poke bonnets.)" M/S of the stage, bride and bridesmaids walking down the steps towards the camera then to and fro across the stage. The three women then walk towards the camera.
