Summary

NoS synopsis: Rotherham United, the mainly miners’ football club (8 of their players are full-time miners). Follows Rotherham scout, Joe McGuire, to a colliery match at Frickely (Yorkshire). Rotherham United seen preparing for match against York City and scenes from the match which is lost by Rotherham, final score 6-1. The commentary was recorded on the 6th December 1948.
