- Summary
- NoS synopsis: The transport services made it possible for millions of people to participate in Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation, and this film reveals a little known aspect of their work on that day. As a result of collaboration between London Transport, British Railways and the L.C.C., 30,000 schoolchildren from 1,700 schools in London and the Home Counties were brought to the Victoria Embankment to witness the passing of the Queen’s Procession on its way to the Abbey.
