- BFI synopsis - View of Marrakesh, men riding on donkeys whilst commentary describes the position of Marrakesh (71). CU of a camel. Camels being led: the market place: Arabs meet to talk or to drive a bargain: commentary gives a brief history of Marrakesh: men riding donkeys: a water seller (179): the main square of Execution (221): Winston Churchill arrives with Lady Churchill by aeroplane: they walk through a guard of honour to a waiting car: medium shot of hotel balcony where Churchill does much of his painting. Scenic views of palm trees. Winston Churchill and Lady Churchill relaxing in the garden, they leave the hotel and get into a car (392): the Kutubiya mosque (414): the market place veiled women: dark arcades, the dye market (519): dyed wool hung out on rods (556): a snake-charmer: acrobatics: local musicians: a wood turner at work (729): musicians, acrobatics and snake charmer shown again (758): palm trees.
