Summary
Babcock and Wilcox synopsis: Calder Hall was the first full-scale nuclear power station in the world and in its design and construction Babcock had an important part.
Now the Company is playing an even larger part in the design and construction of the world’s largest nuclear power station. at Hinkley Point in Somerset, England. The film, after glimpses of Calder Hall, takes us to the site of the Hinkley Point station where work is in hand preparing for roads and foundations; and includes impressions of the station as it will appear when completed.
