MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Polling Scenes in Town and Country. SHOTLIST: People leaving polling station. Mr Sanger and lady walk along street past policeman and into polling station. Others enter polling station. Working class women with shopping baskets etc. also with children at the door of the station and leaving children outside they enter. Policeman talks with some of the children left at the gate. Country man with pails going to poll. Old lady entering the gates. After various shots of people coming and going they leave in car. Crowd of children stand and watch. CU notice ‘Polling Station’. Scenes inside showing the officials giving out papers. Woman in booth and placing vote in box.
