Close shot of Sir Samuel Hoare being cheered by crowd. Miss Cazalet is returned at Islington East. Various shots of candidates waving, includes Mr Churchill, electioneering at Epping, speaking from platform. Shots of Mr Shinwell speaking from platform. Shots of Mr Shinwell being chaired from the County Hall. Crowds cheering. (This is in Durham when he beat Ramsay MacDonald). Churchill speech: "If there have been a few personalities and recriminations ... they are of a kind which I hope and trust and certainly in my case leave no sting behind".
