Summary
Mountainous seas sweep the Longship Lighthouse (one mile to sea from Lands End) taken with special telephoto camera. French Brig "La Servainaise" comes battered but safe to Weymouth Harbour, after fierce fight with the Gale. Goods train crashes headlong in landslide - due to heavy rains - at Bargoe.
