Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Celebrations in Egypt. DESCRIPTION: Egypt celebrates the birth of a Princess. SHOTLIST: King Farouk opens parliament. He enters the hall and listens to the Premier’s speech. Later he leaves with the premier in a car. The same day a ceremonial parade through the streets is held in honour of the birth of Princess Ferial. The parade includes the camel corps, motorised artillery and British troops.
