- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Melbourne Festival Cricket Match. DESCRIPTION: Don Bradman plays in Centenary match of the Melbourne Cricket Club. SHOTLIST: Don Bradman leads out his team among which are McCabe, Hassett, McCormick, Fleetwood-Smith, O’Reilly and Badcock. Barnes opens for the Rest and slow motion shows his batting style. O’Reilly gets him LBW after he has made 63. Sievers goes the same way. Bradman and Brown come out to open for the Australian team. Nagel bowls and Bradman hits out. Christ bowls to McCabe and Bradman is nearly run out. Bradman gives a chance but is missed.
