Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Endurance Swimmer. DESCRIPTION: Long distance swimming record in Australia. SHOTLIST: Alan Denny is searched for concealed floats and then dives into the water fully clothed. He is towed to the shark-proof net which is to surround him all the way on his marathon swim from Manly to Sydney fully clad. As he swims he is carefully fed by officials in the launch.
