Summary
Mr Churchill wearing civilian clothes and under assumed name arrives at desert airfield and is greeted by General Auchinleck. He begins his tour by visiting South African troops, then talks with a Royal Artillery crew and is greeted by Australian troops. At a desert airfield in RAF uniform he is greeted by Sir Miles Lampson and others, then in civvies he attends a lunch in tented Officers Mess where we see some intimate pictures of him. In Cairo again with Sir Miles Lampson and his baby, Churchill is seen wearing sombrero and siren suit, then poses in garden with other VIPs including Smuts.
