Summary
American reinforcements arrive at Mers-el-Kebir near Oran. A seaplane base in the Gulf of Arzeu which was occupied by American troops with such speed that aircraft and torpedoes were left there. American nurses are also there too, and the troops lose no time in getting friendly with the civilians. 300 years old and still standing despite the terrific pounding it has taken. General Doolittle, Commander of the US Air Forces in North Africa is seen, so is Mark Clark who receives his third Star from General Eisenhower thus promoting him on the spot to rank of Lieutenant General.
