Summary
VIPs arrive by military plane at Dakar. Men whose names have become associated with a new French faction in the North African jig-saw. We pass on to where a new airport is under construction. Pre-fabricated steel landing-mats are being put down to provide a firm runway for aircraft. At a station, Senegalese troops bound for the front say goodbye to their relatives and friends.
