Summary
862 British POWs exchanged at Mersin in Turkey for the same amount of enemy prisoners, arrive at a British port in the Middle East. One of them is Admiral Sir Walter Cowan who once commanded the battle cruiser "Repulse". As they step ashore WRENS (Women’s Royal Naval Service) hand out cigarettes.
