- Synopsis
- The first of two programmes on King Lear supporting the A306 Shakespeare course. Considers how an actor can convey Lear’s madness and at the same time be aware of the ‘reason in madness’ so central to the meaning of the play. Director John Russell-Brown takes actor Julian Glover through Act II Scene IV, as far as the storm scene. Presented by Graham Martin.
