Synopsis
Written in 1983 by Dr Levi Fox, Director of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, the compilation of three 30-minute videotapes is an appreciation of Shakespeare complemented with quotations from his works. ‘Shakespeare’s Country’ illustrates the countryside around Stratford-upon-Avon recalling its history and traditions. ‘Shakespeare’s Heritage’ shows how Stratford has become an international centre for scholarship and ‘Stratford’s Shakespeare’ includes a tour of the town and the Shakespeare properties.
