The recording was made in Mark Rylance’s final season as Artistic Director of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
History
The production ran May 6-October 2 2005 in the Season of the World and Underworld. Several videotaped recordings, using three cameras, were made throughout the run and these may be viewed, by appointment, at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
