Synopsis
A programme to mark the opening of the newly reconstructed Shakespeare’s Globe in London. Features Act IV of Henry V, with Richard Oliver directing Mark Rylance as Henry. Includes extracts from the celebrations, at which the play’s prologue is read by Zoe Wanamaker as a tribute to her father Sam Wanamaker for turning the idea of a new Globe Theatre into reality.
