- Synopsis
- The first of two programmes in which two directors from both sides of the Atlantic (Adrian Noble and Peter Sellars) use workshops to explore their personal visions of Shakespeare’s plays. In part 1 Adrian Noble, Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, is joined by RSC actors, Joanne Pearce, Antony Sher and Simon Russell Beale for an intensive week of experimentation on a crucial scene in Measure for Measure in which Isabella pleads for Claudio’s life.
