Timon of Athens

Synopsis
Television series. Michael Bogdanov, associate director at the National Theatre leads a group of NT actors through aspects of Shakespeare’s plays in front of an interrogative and lively audience. Bogdanov analyses a neglected play, showing that behind the seeming barrier of the language are timeless themes of betrayal and the corruption that wealth brings.
