Shakespaw

Synopsis
Children’s series featuring a Jack Russell terrier of the same name. The dog lives with his owner Joe Talbot in Oakdale, Texas, a fictional modern day neighbourhood, but he daydreams about being the star of stories from classic literature, drawing parallels between the stories and the events in the lives of Joe and his friends. It portrays the thoughts of a live Jack Russell terrier in appropriate costume projected as sound with ‘real’ people talking. In SHAKESPAW, disappointed by being kept on the sidelines for a school production of The Tempest, Wishbone assigns himself the role of Ariel in his own re-telling of the play.
