Lewis
- Synopsis
- Television detective drama. A pilot episode for an intended series and a spin-off from INSPECTOR MORSE. DI Lewis discovers that the chief suspect in a murder has previously been the subject of a case handled by Morse. The plot has recognisable Hamlet parallels and there are quotations from the play within the drama. It is appropriate that the concept of a spin-off series is haunted by the ghost of John Thaw, who played Inspector Morse.
