Synopsis
Television arts documentary series. The career of Gwen Ffrangcon-Davies, with strong emphasis on her favourite Shakespearean role, Juliet. Includes contributions from her fellow actors, Nigel Hawthorne in conversation with her, and a specially staged master class at the Aldwych Theatre, London on the role of Juliet. The programme includes the 1924 film of her with John Gielgud in Romeo and Juliet.
