Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy, A
- Synopsis
- Feature film set in ninteenth-century America. A group of friends meet at a country house to attend a wedding party. The magical sequences and pairings of lovers connect the film with Shakespeare’s play, but the bigger debt perhaps is to Ingmar Bergman’s SOMMARNATTENS LEENDE /SMILES OF A SUMMER NIGHT (1955).
