- Synopsis
- Feature film romantic comedy based on Romeo and Juliet where the star-crossed lovers’ barrier to love is their allegiance to competing soccer teams. Successful lawyer and sports fanatic Alfredo (Gustavo), is the chairman of Sao Paolo’s real-life Palmeiras football club. One day, when Palmeiras plays arch-rival Corinthians, his daughter (Piovani) meets and falls in love with ophthalmologist Romeo (Ricca), who manages the Corinthians’ team. Realising the only way to win Juliet’s heart is to pretend to be a Palmeiras fan, the comedy revolves around Romeo trying to keep their relationship a secret.
