- Synopsis
- A programme of excerpts for several plays live from the Queen’s Theatre, London. The charity event was in aid of the Combined Theatrical Charities with the invited actors accepting a much lower fee. The two Shakespeare excerpts included are Judi Dench, Rachel Kempson and Edith Evans in a scene from Romeo and Juliet directed by Vivian Matalon and three Hamlet soliloquies from Peter O’Toole. The show was introduced by Robert Morley, Noel Coward and Anthony Quayle.
