- TV Times notes ‘These four programmes will follow the transmission of KING LEAR. Two plays, each in 2 parts, will pick up themes from Lear to show their contemporary relevance. These plays were The Mistake by Ray Jenkins based on the relationship between Lear and his daughters and Incident, also by Jenkins, about Gloucester and his sons. These plays, shown in the KING LEAR/REFLECTIONS slot were tx Tuesday 24 September 1974 11.40-12.00 and Wednesday 10.10-10.30.
