- Synopsis
- Satirical feature film setting the Romeo and Juliet story into Cold War politics. Igor Romanoff, the son of a Russian ambassador from an obscure Eastern European country, Concordia, falls in love with Juliet Moulsworth, the daughter of a UN ambassador. Her parents prefer her former feckless boyfriend, Freddie. Tybalt appears in disguise as a KGB agent, and the president of Concordia mediates between the warring parties. Youth triumphs over age as as the film ends with the marriage of Igor and Juliet.
