Synopsis
Videorecording of the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre production directed for stage by Mike Alfreds. The production uses minimal sets and employed a cast of six (and two on-stage percussionists) with the subsequent doubling of roles.

The production ran in the UK 30 June-23 September 2001 in the Celtic Season. Videotaped recordings, using three cameras, of selected performances at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre can be viewed by scholars by application to Globe Education.
