Synopsis
Documentary on John Butler’s ballet. Shows rehearsal footage and includes a discussion by Butler and others about the ballet’s technical and dramatic demands. Butler, who was born in Mississippi, looks back on his youth in the South. The programme concludes with a performance of the ballet. Narrated by Alice Haining.
