- Between acts I and II there was a 10 minute broadcast SOFTEST MUSIC TO ATTENDING EARS in which Graham Fawcett reflected on interpretations of the play by Gounod, Bernstein and Bellini. Between acts III and IV in SHAKESPEARE AND THE FAIRY TALE (20mins) Marina Warner considered the use Shakespeare made of fairies and fairy tales.
