Slings & Arrows. Season 1

Alternative title
Slings and Arrows. Season 1
Synopsis
Canadian drama series detailing daily life at the New Burbage Theatre Festival, a Shakespearean theatre company in crisis. Veteran Geoffrey Tennant (Paul Gross) had his greatest theatrical triumph, and his most humiliating failure, at the Burbage and now returns as artistic director after the sudden death of his onetime mentor Oliver Welles (Stephen Ouimette). Oliver is ever-present in spirit and dispenses both guidance and disapproval to Geoffrey during his staging of Hamlet, the same play that occasioned Burbage’s downfall at the Burbage seven years earlier.
