- Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre makes several recordings of a single production, using three fixed cameras, to enable practitioners and researchers to observe how the play has developed during the run.
- General
- The production follows on from brief experiments with original pronunciation during the company’s run of Romeo and Juliet in June 2004. The Globe was advised by Professor David Crystal, a scholar of phonetics and language.
- History
- The production ran August 24-September 28 in the Season of World and Underworld.
