Dizzy Spells

Synopsis
Radio play about the flamboyant life of the young Benjamin Disraeli. References to Shakespeare and his plays are made during the family’s discussions about Benjamin’s fitness as a Member of Parliament. Benjamin compares himself to Prince Hal (who later becomes King Henry V). His father, trying to write an essay on Shakespeare, is concerned with his son’s lack of moral compass and evokes The Merchant of Venice and Measure for Measure instead.
