In this episode Ian Smith reports on plans about the new theatre that is to be built on the banks of the Thames, a project which is facing opposition from the local council. Contains an interview with Sam Wanamaker arguing for the Shakespeare Globe Centre as an important job factor while Ted Bowman from the North Southwark Development Corporation is convinced that that the scheme does not meet the housing needs of the people in the area.
