- Synopsis
- Syndicated television detective drama series. In this episode, during the German occupation of France, Colonel Kurt Schmidt, a Nazi, extorts a First Folio edition of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, from a French
prisoner, Marquis Remy, who he then has executed. Many years later, when Schmidt is forced to offer
the book for sale, Chan begins an investigation. Then there is a fire and both the book and Schmidt disappears. - Series
