- Gounod’s opera directed for television by Barbara Willis-Sweete starring Roberto Alagna and Angela Gheorghiu as Romeo and Juliet. Condensed to 75 minutes, the production offered the best-loved arias and duets while maintaining the dramatic story. The Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and the Kuhn’s Mixed Choir are conducted by Anton Guadagno for the specially recorded soundtrack.
