- One of a series of seven films produced by the National Geographic Society in association with the television station WQED, Pittsburgh. Carnegie Mellon University and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Stratford-upon-Avon. Much abridged, for example it opens with Prince Escalus’ speech and Mercutio’s Queen Mab speech has been cut. Narrated by John Harrison.
