Synopsis: Syndicated radio broadcast, directed by Andrew C. Love, of Will Huddleston’s stage production of The Comedy of Errors for the 1976 Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The production was set in an American carnival. The actors playing the Antipholus twins (Barry and Brian Mulholland) were identical twins.

General: The cast credits are those taken from the cast of the stage production as cast details for the radio production were not available. It has been assumed that the cast is the same but because the radio version is much shorter some of the roles may have been cut.

Jensen notes that there was a long introduction in which all the plays produced in the season’s festival were noted. The ‘carnivalesque’ version was reduced to ‘a sampler of scenes’ for the hour broadcast.
